JOIN A BAND

Playing in a band and in a recording environment improves your playing faster than any other experience. The Band Gig Program teaches you how to be a part of a band. Geared toward teens and adults that already have one thing in common: they love music and want to play in a band. Each group is made up of 4-6 students based on age, music style preference and ability. We start with forming a band. The group chooses a name for the band and what songs they are going to play. Original music is always enthusiastically encouraged. Then we perform live! So you see we really are a Band Gig. We take you from forming the band to playing the gig. It’s all about having fun.
Our Approach
Your experience will be more like a recording session rather than rehearsal. Often times rehearsals become loud and unproductive, yet with our approach each student plays in a controlled environment using digital amplifiers and electronic drums. Those signals are sent to a mixing board and then to the headphones. Each student can hear their own playing as well as a mix of the whole band without the ear damage and frustration of being too loud.

 

Tuition for Join a Band Program is $360 for a 12 week session ($240 if currently enrolled in our Private Lesson program). More about Policies here.
