DEREK JAMISON

Once Derek first picked up a pair of drum sticks in middle school, music has been his focus. He jumped right into live performance,  joining every possible school ensemble as well as bands outside the classroom. Soon after, he landed at Band Gig and developed his musical skills further. Derek attended Berklee College of Music, studying under multiple expert teachers. He has a diverse background in playing live and in studio, having gigged across New England with a variety of groups. 
He is proficient in a variety of styles.
Derek has also always enjoyed serving the community, performing at and assisting in many local events over the years. 
A few of his favorite past gigs include...First Night Boston, Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival, Laconiafest, Fete Music Hall.
