Improvisation Lab Level 1
(Dedham location only)
Learn the fundamentals of Improvisation “How to Solo” Learn how to identify a songs key, what scale to use, and some really cool tricks. Classes are limited to 10 students so the instructor can give individual instruction to each student. Class meets for 1 hour each week
Tuition: $75.00 if currently enrolled in our Private Lesson Program/ $85.00 if not currently enrolled in our Private Lesson Program.
Requirements: Student will need an acoustic guitar during class. If the student only owns an electric guitar they must bring their own practice amp.
Learn concepts on creative use of pentatonic scales and Modes… Our Instructor will prepare typical chord progressions in a variety of styles.
You will learn a song, its guitar solo, you will analyze the solo and understand the choices that the artist made.
The session finishes with a performance at Daddy’s monthly Open Mic Night.

Same as Improvisation Lab 1 except more notes , scales, chords and tricks.
