Band Coaching

The Band Gig’s join a band program teaches you how to be a part of a band. Geared toward teens and adults (ages 12 and up) who already have one thing in common: they love music and want to play in a band.

Each group (made up of 4-6 students based on age, music style preference and ability) chooses a name for the band and what songs they are going to play. Original music is always enthusiastically encouraged.

The Band Gig program offers the chance to develop skills reminiscent of being on an athletic team by engaging the ‘team player’ in all of us. We start with forming the band, recording a demo and then giving a live performance. So you see we really are a Band Gig! we take you from forming the band to playing the gig. It’s all about having fun.

Many teens are bedroom musicians who play holed up by themselves. And many adults are closet rock ‘n roll stars playing in their basements alone.

With the expertise of our instructors you will be placed in a band with fellow musicians with similar interests and different strengths in a positive and nurturing environment. Bringing people together through music, Band Gig places people who want to be in a band, but either don’t know how, don’t have the confidence to do so, have no one with whom to start a band, or don’t have a place to rehearse.
